One year of Emergency experience strongly preferredRN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra / interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient careBCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req AndCPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Req AndCRRN - Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse Upon Hire Pref OrCNRN - Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse Upon Hire Pref OrONC - Orthopedic Nurse Certified Upon Hire Pref OrOther Certification in area of specialty Upon Hire PrefWhat You Will DoDelivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing ProcessAssesses the patientPlans the care of the patientIntervenes as appropriateEvaluates the effectiveness of interventionsIncorporates age specific safety / infection control measures into patient care.

Initiates action to meet patient and / or significant others need for informationMaintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
