The Analyst II / Customer Engagement is responsible for building and maintaining public awareness and trust through multi-channel external and internal communications efforts.

The ideal candidate is a strong oral and written communicator with experience in public relations, media relations, internal communications, community outreach, events, social media, digital outreach, and content creation.

The Analyst works collaboratively with internal stakeholders, media, community partners, industry partners, vendors, and customers to strategically communicate key company initiatives.

The successful candidate is a self-starter who is organized and capable of meeting multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment even in times of crisis.

The ability to analyze and interpret data to determine ROI of communications efforts and strong public speaking skills is preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

There are clear precedents and practices that the incumbent uses as guidelines to determine how this job is performed. This position requires three to five years of relevant work experience plus a bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Customer Engagement, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential job responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prioritize, schedule, track and complete communications and customer engagement projects in a timely manner
• Assist in managing all aspects of the Company's participation in various external and internal events, shows, conferences and press / media events
• Analyze and prepare recommendations for management on communications, programs, events, sponsorships, and media opportunities including creating and executing customer engagement plans
• Research vendors and negotiate rates appropriate for communications, advertising and / or media relations needs
• Manage all aspects of multiple customer engagement / communications external and internal campaigns and production of collateral and other materials such as media statements or press releases to support company-wide initiatives
• Review and make recommendations on final copy on materials targeting all customer segments and markets for a variety of media platforms (web, video, TV, print media, radio, social media, media relations and internal communications)
• Analyze and report metrics on communications and customer engagement efforts, special projects and campaigns
• Assist in developing strategies and proposals in support of programs that increase customer engagement, employee engagement, education, customer acquisition, and growth of Company's market share
• Perform market research functions including analyzing communications and customer engagement data to assist in decision making for strategic decisions, closely coordinating with outside agencies, internal departments while working with division and corporate staff
• Consolidate, synthesize data and information, and deliver content and performance reports in various formats such as PowerPoint, spreadsheets or written reports
• Analyze market conditions and opportunities, evaluate and recommend potential new customer outreach and communications programs considering all forms of integrated communications including public relations and internal communication
• Act as subject matter expert and escalation point in support of the Call Center on calls regarding customer engagement and communication efforts
• Provide direct support to Energy Solutions, Key Account Management, Public Affairs, Regulatory, and Operations by communicating efforts and building awareness internally and externally with stakeholders
• Act as back-up to Manager of Communications
• Handle special projects and perform high level analysis on an ad hoc basis
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned

SALARY DETAILS

$66,722 - $100,082
