6 month Contract, Data Analyst, 4 days onsite, $55 / hr.

Responsibilities :

• Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, analyze, and present data.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau to provide meaningful business insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements, ensuring accurate and actionable reporting.
• Analyze large datasets, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
• Monitor data integrity and resolve any discrepancies or quality issues.
• Support ad-hoc data requests and contribute to continuous improvement of data reporting processes.
• Document methodologies and processes for maintaining consistency and reproducibility in data analysis.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL (T-SQL, PL / SQL, or equivalent), with the ability to write efficient, complex queries for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
• 3+ years of experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python for data cleansing or automation.
• Experience working in Agile environments, using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps for backlog refinement and task management.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to provide actionable recommendations based on data findings.
