We are looking to fill an ASSISTANT COMMUNITY MANAGER position for a garden style property located in Southeast DC. This position requires the following knowledge, skills and abilities :

Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Overseeing property leasing activities including tax credit requirements
- Completing recertifications
- Assisting in managing tenant relations and resolving conflicts in accordance with L / T law
- Utilizing Yardi for property management tasks and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting the Community Manager in daily operations and administrative tasks
- Utilizing Microsoft Office suite for communication, data entry, and reporting
- Collaborating with maintenance team to address property maintenance issues promptly
Knowledge required :
- A minimum of 3-5 years of multifamily property management experience, preferably in the District of Columbia
- Expertise with rent collection and delinquencies in the District of Columbia
- Knowledge of District of Columbia Landlord / Tenant court proceedings
- Experience with income requirement and rent control calculations
- Tax Credit / LIHTC certification required
- Managing maintenance coordination
- Yardi and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel and Word) proficiency

- College degree or some college is preferred, but not required
