This Instrumentation and Electrical Engineer - Controls Engineer position will support our DuPont Teijin Films site as it relates to ensure the longer-term maintenance and safety of all site control and electrical equipment.
Ensure site’s future electrical infrastructure goals are attained in terms of obsolescence and leveraging of new technology and best practices.
Assist in the development and technical direction of the site E&I trade.
Work Experience / Skills & Knowledge & Required Education :
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
Training and experience on safety and operation of industrial control and electrical equipment, VS drives, PLCs, distributed temperature controllers.
Five (5) years or more demonstrated ability to work safely and effectively in an industrial or manufacturing experience.
Maintenance Control / Electrical Responsibilities :
Assist in day to day maintenance and troubleshooting of control and electrical equipment.
Develop, maintain and execute safety, improvement and obsolescence plans for control and electrical equipment.
Keep abreast of changes in technology and champion improvements as identified.
Leverage of technology improvements and best practices.
Network across the JV and parent corporation to identify and leverage of technology improvements and best practices.
Assists in support and development of site utilities.
Gatekeeper for maintenance for the MOC process as applicable to electrical and control systems.
Identification, management and execution of projects with a high control / electrical content.
Provides maintenance representation for engineering and capital work.
Provides engineering support prior to and during PMs.
