Overview :
Gathers pertinent patient information so patients can be scheduled, verified / authorized and pre-registered prior to initiation of rehab services.
Assists with verifying insurance or other third party coverage, obtaining pre-certification, coordinating financial issues with internal and external departments, and resolving or referring non-financial concerns of the patient to the appropriate department or agency.
Enters data into computer systems.
Qualifications :
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements :
Graduate from high school or equivalent. Computer skills necessary including but not limited to word processing. Minimum 1 year experience in a medical setting preferred.
Experience in a rehab setting preferred.

None
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation :
