Registered Nurse Emergency Room - Travel - (ER RN)

JOB SUMMARYSimpliFi InterviewJOB DESCRIPTIONGeneral Information : Number of Beds : 32; up to 40 with hallway bedsFirst-time traveler : Yes with at least 2-years’ critical care (ICU or ED) experience with ED level III or higher experience, Cerner OR EPIC experience.
Patient Types : General Emergency Department- combined Adult / PediDiabetes, HTN, cardiac, Respiratory distressPatient Ratios : 1 : 4Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI or similar (can be online version), TNCC (preferred)Skills required : Chest tube, art line, central line care / management, trach care, intubation / extubation, conscious sedation, IV therapy, Nasogastric insertion / management, Foley insertion / management, Splinting, and related ED procedures.
Support on the Unit : CNA (Ratio) : N / AReceptionist / HUC : Days onlyCharge nurse : Yes, not in patient assignmentPhlebotomy : Most daysIV / VAT Team : PICC Team (day shift only)Hospitalist : YesTelemetry monitoring tech?

Required Qualifications
AL RN Lic or compact state lic
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI or similar (can be online version)
60 mile radius rule
