We’re looking for someone who will :

Ensure the integrity of financial information by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling accounts payable and receivable.

Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

Responsible for preparing accurate reports, and financial statements, and supporting month-end and year-end close.

Support the budget preparation in collaboration with the Finance Director.

Review and recommend changes to the accounting system and procedures. Ensures compliance with GAAP principles.

Provide knowledge and training to the different accounting teams, as needed.

Contribute to the onboarding process for our potential ministry partners.

Perform assigned work for our customer ministries (e.g. reports, bookkeeping, completing specific project work, etc.).

Contribute to special projects as assigned.

Our ideal candidate :

Is an experienced senior accountant for a minimum of 5 years and has a deep understanding of GAAP principles.

Quickbooks online experience preferred.

Experience working in a variety of industries from church, non-profit, and marketplace.

Prioritizes communication and loves working on a team.

Is comfortable working in a fast-paced and growing environment.

Is technology savvy and comfortable with using a variety of accounting systems, including MS Office or G-Suite.

Loves to work with people and sit as an advisor and client engagement lead to multiple organizations.

Would love to create content to help educate and resource ministries.

Is a strong project manager who loves to serve people, is collaborative, and is organized.

Has a heart for serving the church, loves Jesus, and is excited to grow the capital C church.
