Financial Analyst Prometheus Federal Services (PFS), a trusted partner to federal health and social services agencies, has an opening for a Financial Analyst.

This individual will work closely with the project team and the client to ensure the budget is appropriately spent. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent Excel skills and a strong understanding of finance principles.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) and possess exceptional reporting and presentation skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support various finance projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion Present program material to various audiences through presentations, reports, and other communication methods Review budgets and compare program usage to budget and identify Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings Collaborate with project teams to ensure financial goals are met and provide financial insights to support project planning and execution Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for executive leadership, committees, and other stakeholders Ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal policies regarding financial management and reporting Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in financial analysis Excellent Excel skills, including advanced functions and data analysis tools Strong reporting and presentation skills Deep understanding of finance principles and practices Strong customer presence with excellent communication (written and oral), presentation, and interpersonal skills Authorized to work in the U.

S. without sponsorship indefinitely Ability to obtain a public trust Preferred Qualifications MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Experience supporting the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) or other federal health agencies preferred Government consulting budgeting experience is highly preferred Familiarity with federal financial regulations and compliance requirements All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin.
