Job Summary

Responsible to assure scheduling maintaining master data updated, support organization to balance desired level of customer service, making best use of resources and keep inventories at desired level.

What you would do :

• Maintain Product master data and production recipe in SAP.
• Evaluate demand against capacity. Liaise with Master planner, Operation and RPM if demand above capacity.
• Create production schedule for GMO and Non-GMO products that conforms to plant capability and raw material supply.
• Support organization on tool implementation such as APO- PPDS and Oflow.
• Issue detailed schedule for each asset based on a final time-phased production plan.
• Manage production details in line with business strategy (cost, rate, inventory and uptime).
• Assure schedule is continually maintained and communicated throughout the supply chain.
• Highlight and actively participate in the identification and resolution of inventory, raw material supply, customer order issues and quality issues as they develop.

Anticipates problem and builds risk mitigation accordingly.

• Communicate production issues, supply changes, deviation from plan and potential resolutions to appropriate parties.
• Manage performance standards and analysis methods to compare actual production performance against the established standards.
• Primary interface between manufacturing and supply chain.
• Work with manufacturing to optimize the plant schedule along with manufacturing capabilities.
• Co-ordinate the production planning with maintenance planning and scheduling needs.
• Validate material availability against asset schedule.
• Drive continuous improvement of planning process and tools SME / Regional superuser.
• Ability to balance finished goods production plan against a variable raw material supply output.
• Must be able to respond to plant operations in off hours in the event of unplanned downtime, etc. on occasion.

What you would need :

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related fields.
• 5 years experience in operations or supply chain roles.
• Knowledge of supply planning theory and stock management.
• Knowledge of MS Office tools.
• Excellent business English communication skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Analytical and quantitative skills.
• Continuous improvement attitude.

The training and certifications that you would need :

• SAP, APO, MRP training on functional areas of expertise.
• APICS Module I (Basics of Supply Chain Management) training.
• Six Sigma certification.
