Head Coach
Holy Names has provided quality education to young women in the bay area for over 150 years. We are a small Catholic college-preparatory school located in the Oakland Hills.

Head Coach Responsibilities :
- Manage Assistant Coach
- Oversee sport specific program
Duties Include : Pre-season :
Pre-season :
- Certify that all Physical Examination and Insurance Requirements have been met by all student athletes before they are permitted to practice.
- Submit personal schedule of availability to AD before season begins
- Submit roster to the Athletic Director prior to season games
- Schedule all practice dates, times and locations
- Conduct a pre-season meeting with player parents and family members
- Conduct tryouts and maintain a current roster
- Administer uniforms and equipment in a documented manner
Season
- Maintain a professional attitude and insist upon the same attitude from assistant coaches / volunteers, players and player families
- Assure ethical and sportsmanship behavior from all members of the team
- Maintain proper communication with the Athletic Director and Principal regarding player eligibility, scheduling and release times for practices and games (This includes checking and responding to HNHS email daily)
- Maintain proper facilities and equipment
- Maintain proper first aid equipment and protocols in case of player injury
- Report scores / results to the league and to local media , report incidents to AD
Post-Season
- Attend post-season coaches' meetings
- Collect equipment and submit an inventory of all equipment
- Maintain team records and submit records to the Athletic Director
- Assist the AD in planning and conducting the athletic banquet and team awards
- Attend Middle School Day and New Family Night at the end of school year to represent athletic program
Required Qualifications : Valid driver's license, cleared DMV record, eligible to drive school vans (Must be at least 22 years of age)
Preferred qualifications include : 1st aid / CPR and NFHS Certification, playing experience at the collegiate or club level, experience coaching female athletes.
- All employees are required to be fingerprinted and cleared by the department of justice and the FBI before starting employment.
