We are seeking an Associate Attorney with a strong background in civil litigation, preferably in California labor and employment litigation.
Associates are given a chance to build their own caseload while learning from industry-leading attorneys, ensuring professional growth and hands-on experience.
As an associate attorney on the team, you will handle all aspects of litigation as well as counseling employers on hiring, firing, and related employment matters.
Key Responsibilities :
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents critical to labor and employment litigation
- Develop and execute litigation strategies in state and federal courts
- Play an active role in representing clients during depositions, motion hearings, and mediations
- Enhance your research, writing, and oral advocacy skills under the mentorship of accomplished attorneys
Qualifications :
- Active California Bar license and in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience
- Strong legal research and analytical abilities
- Thrive in fast-paced litigation environment
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Practical judgment in handling complex legal issues
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to adapt quickly
- Experience with California Employment Law preferred, but not required
