The National Security Sector at Leidos is hiring for a Web Developer, Technical Lead to lead a team of web developers creating a state-of-the-art intelligence discovery website for the government customer.

You will develop a new enterprise-wide platform for aggregating, searching, and disseminating intelligence information across various networks.

This role demands not only leadership but a hands-on approach to developing, deploying, and maintaining a platform that ensures secure, efficient, and scalable intelligence data dissemination.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

What you'll be doing :

• Lead and mentor a team of web developers in designing, developing, and implementing a high-performance intelligence discovery website.
• Collaborate with government leads, project managers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, goals, and timelines.
• Ensure the platforms architecture is scalable, secure, and integrates seamlessly with existing systems and cloud-based services.
• Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces employing modern web development frameworks and libraries such as Angular, React, Vue.

js, and specifically D3.js for data visualization and Leaflet.js for mapping capabilities.

Architect backend services using a microservices approach to ensure scalability and maintainability, utilizing technologies like Node.

js, Python / Django, or Ruby on Rails.

• Manage the full development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Implement best practices for software development, including Agile methodologies, code reviews, and continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) processes.
• Monitor project progress, address any technical challenges, and adjust priorities as needed to meet deadlines.

What does Leidos need from me'

• Must have an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS / SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience with 10 plus years in software development, technology management, system engineering or related field.

Eight plus years of experience with Master's degree.

• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript / TypeScript) and frameworks (Angular, React, Vue.js).
• Experience with backend development using Node.js, or equivalent technologies.
• Experience with database design and development (e.g., SQL, NoSQL), and familiarity with search technologies (e.g., Elasticsearch, Solr).

Pay Range : Pay Range $108,550.00 - $196,225.00
