Our reputable client is seeking a Sales Supervisor to join their team in Houston, TX. In this role, you will oversee a thriving business unit for the Southern Region, promoting and supporting a range of advanced measuring instruments for various properties.

The salary for this position ranges from $136,000 to $154,500, with a bonus of 20 - 30% included. In addition, they offer comprehensive benefits, a contribution to your 401k, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Leading and developing a team of field and inside sales representatives as well as product specialists
  • Meeting sales targets and managing travel and expense budgets for the business unit
  • Providing daily support to the team
  • Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales and Service for the Southern Region

To be successful in this role, you will need :

Minimum of 3 years of sales management experience, including prior experience in direct sales, ideally within the analytical instrumentation or technical capital equipment field.

We also welcome applications from seasoned Senior Sales Representatives with leadership experience in selling analytical instruments to R&D Labs.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to coach and train the sales team on selling strategies, negotiation, and customer service
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a rapidly evolving industry and company
  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred
  • Flexibility for up to 50% overnight travel
  • A valid driver's license and passport
