Our busy construction company is seeking an organized construction administrative assistant to support our office with clerical and administrative tasks.

You’ll help our office staff communicate with vendors and clients, obtain bids from subcontractors, and place change orders.

The ideal candidate will have great computer, communication, and time management skills. Previous experience in the industry is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities :

  • Field incoming emails and phone calls in a professional manner
  • Complete administrative support tasks for the office manager, project manager, general contractor, and other construction management staff
  • Organize meeting logistics and deliverables such as handouts, and make travel arrangements for the project management team
  • Communicate with vendors and subcontractors as a point of contact to solicit new jobs
  • Produce forms such as purchase orders, service agreements, change orders, and subcontracts
  • Support our company in executing marketing campaign plans through communication, digital, and advertising strategies
  • Create marketing materials including website content, advertisements, social media posts, and other collateral that is polished and on-brand
  • Manage website content, mailing lists, SEO development, and tracking analytics to ensure all content is up-to-date and relevant
  • Regularly update social media and respond to followers
  • Deliver reports on monthly analytics across web and social platforms and advise on improvements

Qualifications :

  • Familiarity with the construction industry is desired, but not required
  • Three years of experience of administrative experience is necessary - previous administrative duties in a busy construction office is desired
  • Superb organization and communication skills, as well as great time management, are essential
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a bonus - high school diploma is required
  • Strong computer skills, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) are needed
