Overview

The Customer Service Liaison bridges the customer, the service advisor, and the service team at the Honda of Fishers service center.

This role ensures customers are informed of their vehicle’s service or repair progress, addresses customer inquiries, and provides a seamless communication experience from drop-off to pick-up.

The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, possess strong communication skills, and understand automotive services.

Responsibilities

  • Act as customers' primary point of contact throughout their vehicle's service or repair process.
  • Work closely with service advisors to stay updated on vehicle status and ensure timely customer communication.
  • Update customers on service progress, expected completion times, and potential delays.
  • Answer customer inquiries about service timelines, vehicle status, and service recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the service team to gather necessary information for customer updates.
  • Facilitate smooth communication between the service advisor and the customer, ensuring all parties are informed of changes or additional work needed.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving any issues that may arise during the service process.
  • Assist in scheduling follow-up appointments if additional service is required.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and service updates for quality assurance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional customer service or automotive service training is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to customers.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in an automotive or service-related industry.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of automotive services and repairs.
  • Proficiency in using customer service software or dealership management systems is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first attitude.

Working Hours

Full-time position, including some weekends and evenings as needed to accommodate customer schedules.
