The Deamer Group is partnering with Design for Leisure (DFL) for a new Assistant Project Manager role!
Who We Are & What We Do :
Design for Leisure (DFL) is a team of hydrothermal spa specialists working in partnership with owners, operators, architects, and designers to bring European-inspired hydrotherapy concepts to life.
Our expertise in building best-in-class wet areas ranges from small but luxurious residential thermal suites with acclaimed hydrothermal circuits for 5-star hospitality projects and luxury commercial developments.
What We're Looking For :
DFL is looking for an Assistant Project Manager willing to work in a fast-paced, multinational company. This position will require experience supporting project planning, coordinating with internal team members, subcontractors and suppliers, conducting site visits, and assisting in project documentation.
We are looking for a candidate who is eager to join a growing company in the unique wellness industry, has exemplary organizational and communication skills, with experience in design and construction or related industries.
What Your Day Looks Like :
Assist in developing and managing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Assist internal teams with design submittals and managing project documentation
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality.
Support the preparation and presentation of project reports to clients and leadership.
Required Skills :
Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
1-3+ years of experience with a commercial general contractor, professional design practice or development related team.
Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management principles.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Procore, BuilderTrend) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Proven experience with design principles and construction best practices.
Preferred Skills :
Familiarity with design principles and the ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
Understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
