Hiring in South San Francisco, California
We are looking for a licensed (APE) Adapted Physical Education teacher for the 2023 to 2024 school year, in South San Francisco, California to teach our students in a full-time position.
Role Knowledge and Duties :
- Knowledge of physical education techniques, anatomy, motor control, and kinesiology
- Instruct a class of students in Adapted Physical Education lessons and participatory activities.
- Lead small-group intervention sessions for targeted students.
- Facilitate the development of students by participating in feedback meetings.
- Perform supervisory duties while students are in class, such as escorting students, monitoring students, and maintaining a safe and appropriate environment.
- Establish high performance standards for self and students, mitted to student engagement in class.
- Perform other duties as assigned by administration.
Licensing Requirements :
- State of California Prerequisite Teaching Credential
- State of California Adapted Physical Education (APE) Specialist Credential
- U.S. Work Authorization
Work Type : Full Time (35 - 40 hours per week)
