USAC’s target compensation range for a new hire into this position is $100,000 - $130,000 USD per year. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors based on knowledge, skills, and experience, as evaluated throughout the interview process.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and collaborative professional to serve as Manager of Program Management.

Working in a creative and fast-paced environment, the responsibilities of the Manager of Program Management will manage of project portfolio, oversight of project execution, and development of a team of Assistant Program Analysts, Program Analysts, and Senior Program Analysts.
Responsibilities
1. Supervise staff dedicated to program design, verification, implementation, funding and disbursement processes.
2. Supervisor tasks that include, but are not limited to :
- Developing performance metrics
- Developing and updating compliance procedures
- Evaluating staff performance
- Providing training, guidance, and oversight to staff
- Establishing task priorities and schedules
- Managing staff projects
- Communicating program updates in an oral or written format
3. Resolve issues related to program rules and procedures.
4. Develop, revise, and enhance processes and procedures related to program design, implementation, funding, and disbursement.
5. Streamline and align processes and procedures among programs.
6. Ensure program quality to mitigate waste, fraud, and abuse within the program.
7. Cross-train staff with other program teams.
8. Work with IT to develop and enhance program technology.
9. Establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver outreach products.
10. Excellent analytical and proven problem-solving skills.
11. Excellent verbal and written Communication Skills.
12. Experience managing people.
13. Experience process improvement.
14. Finance Accounting and Audit background a plus.
15. Other specific duties as assigned.
About You
The successful candidate will excel at operating in a diverse and fluid environment and will be crucial for the success of the High Cost :
- Possess Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of project / program management experience, including scoping timelines / project plans, participating and or leading cross-functional teams, and owning deliverables.
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience of direct management or technical leadership
- You have 5 to 7 years of experience performing duties similar to those listed above.
- Ability to work independently without significant guidance and be able to exercise good judgment, taking the initiative when necessary.
- Excellent analytical and proven problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work in high-pressure situations.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio)
