Director of Operation FP&A

Our client, a multi-site healthcare company, is seeking a Director of Operation FP&A. This role involves driving business results by identifying opportunities and influencing operations leadership.

The position is hybrid, with the successful candidate expected to be in the office three days a week. This is an exciting opportunity to become a trusted business partner and lead financial management and coordination of operational results.

Responsibilities :

• Drive business results by identifying opportunities and influencing operations leadership.
• Build relationships with the Chief Operating Officer, Group Vice Presidents, Regional Directors of Operations, and location leadership.
• Create and provide monthly presentations to management at various levels.
• Lead and present monthly operating reviews with GVPs.
• Collaborate as a cross-functional business partner in developing strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts.
• Simplify complex location issues for operations and finance leadership.
• Support the development and execution of site plans, KPIs, and trending metrics.
• Monitor and communicate monthly risks and opportunities.
• Drive process improvements in reporting, analytics, and forecasting.
• Enhance data through data warehouse and adaptive processes.
• Communicate effectively at both detailed and executive levels.
• Support site decisions, including transfers and expansions.
• Ensure standardized and effective site performance reviews and continuous improvement.
• Manage direct reports’ performance, development, and training.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Perform adhoc analysis as needed.

Requirements :

• BS / BA in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• Strong financial acumen with 10+ years of financial experience.
• Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Compensation :

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure : $180K - $195K per year.
