About The Position
Job Title : Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Job Specialty : Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Nights - Monday to Friday : 4 p.
m. to 8 a.m. (16 hours) - Saturday and Sunday : 2 p.m. to 8 a.m. (18 hours) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Experienced NNPs who feel comfortable being in-house alone License : Must have Arizona License Certifications : - ACLS - BLS - NRP - PALS - Board Certified Must-Have : - DEA - Clean background - Malpractice insurance Job Description : - Neonatal Nurse Practitioners are in-house 24 / 7.
- Collaborate with a Neonatologist who is in-house from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on-call at night. - Provide coverage in the NICU and attend high-risk deliveries.
- Assist with the newborn nursery, particularly when the baby has already been seen; Neonatologists examine nursery babies within the first 24 hours, followed by NNP through discharge.
- Cross credentialing is required. - A call interview or Zoom Meeting with Site Medical Director / Clinical Leadership is mandatory for candidates.
- NNPs have the opportunity to ask additional questions during a clinical call, once approved. - Weekends are part of the job requirement.
