Project Manager – Solutions Delivery

Project Manager with strong analytical business process engineering skills to support the organization, execution, planning and delivery of SCOR Global Life strategic initiatives.

Responsible for assembling project plans, estimating, and securing resources, managing project teamwork assignments, directing, and monitoring and executing project work efforts (across multiple methodologies).

Gathers and analyzes business requirements from stakeholders, conducts research and data analysis to identify use cases and strategies to address business needs.

Drive efficiency and accelerate innovation through digitalization and automation, while strengthening the controls’ framework and reducing operational risks.

Monitor and evaluate project outcomes to ensure objectives, resourcing needs, scope, milestones, quality, and timelines are met.

Ability to create detailed documentation, including plans, business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.

Provide ongoing support and training to end users and team associates, additionally further support the evolvement of process and project framework and feedback loops.

  • Building Business Partnerships : Works effectively (and helps others to work effectively) with internal and external partners, such as peers in other units, staff groups, senior management and outside vendors and client partners, to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.
  • Collaboration / Cooperation : Works effectively with others, regardless of authority relationships, to get work done, solve problems and continuously improve efficiency and quality additionally further support the evolvement of process and project framework and feedback loops.

The ability to share information and resources, offer recommendations and accept assistance when needed. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and cultivate a mindset of innovation.

  • Manages the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of assigned projects.
  • Ensures that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and within scope, and adhere to high quality standards to meet customer and business unit expectations.
  • Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the timeline, budget, scope, risk, and resources of the work effort being managed.
  • Communicates with leadership and holds regular status and review meetings with project team, sponsors, and clients to ensure expectations are met.
  • Works with stakeholders and functional managers to identify and assign appropriate project resources to successfully achieve key deliverables.
  • Reviews high-level deliverables across projects.
  • Implements committee review and quality assurance procedures in accordance with our methodology to ensure successful execution of projects.
  • Makes revisions and resets expectations, as appropriate, to meet changing requirements or scope changes.
  • Minimizes our exposure and risk across multiple projects; manages scope and mitigates risk across projects.
  • Ensures accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for all projects under his / her direction.
  • Develops project proposals, business analysis and presentations to senior management for approval.
  • Analyzes and forecasts budget, actual costs / invoices, bill rates and utilization.
  • Oversees and is responsible for all aspects of projects from beginning to end.
  • Other duties as required for the position.
  • 10+ years project management experience managing multiple projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Led cross-functional teams in conducting in-depth business analysis and implementing process improvement to drive operational efficiency and enhance overall business performance.
  • Demonstrated experience and certifications in Waterfall (SDLC) and / or Agile and change management methodologies.
  • Knowledge and / or experience with widely successful Agile components (stand ups, retrospectives, etc.)
  • Accredited in Lean, Six Sigma other process improvement methodology - Preferred
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
  • Exposure to complex projects overseeing business applications and processes, preferably in operations, financial / business analytics, technology, or risk management functions.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to identify, quantify & analyze problems (big picture viewpoint, focusing on important information, draw conclusions, recommend, and implement viable solutions)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop business process mapping and flowcharts or developing / analyzing business processes.
  • Demonstrated capability for developing and managing to budgets, cost benefit analysis, and key performance metrics and reporting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through challenging and high-pressure situations, resolve conflict and look for continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Demonstrated creativity, innovation, negotiation & influence skills.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills; proven success communicating effectively at all levels of an organization.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed worker capable of developing detailed tasks from abstract assignments.
  • Regular attendance and an availability to work additional hours to meet challenging deadlines are minimum requirements of this role.
  • Experience managing global cross-functional projects, with business processing engineering and analysis expertise preferred.

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience and technical training is required.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and / or Project Management Professional (PMP)

Actual salaries may vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, role and performance.

The range listed is just one component of SCOR’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range : $127,000 - $145,000 salary per year.

Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives. In addition, we provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement saving plan, paid holidays and paid time off.
