What you will be doing :

  • Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of paid media with a digital focus, driving campaigns for films, loyalty programs, theatres, and / or food and beverage.
  • Manage diverse media tactics, including paid search, paid social, programmatic, and traditional advertising, contributing to the success of campaigns across various business sectors.
  • Outline and implement media strategy to achieve business goals, overseeing a substantial annual paid media budget aimed at boosting attendance, revenue, and loyalty.
  • Evaluate and demonstrate the efficiency, impact, and return of all media efforts consistently.
  • Serve as a paid search expert, guiding strategy, and execution across AMC campaigns.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive media efforts, and emerging technologies to enhance AMC's paid media initiatives.
  • Manage monthly media billing and invoice approval, ensuring timely payments and effective budget reconciliation.

What we need from you :

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, advertising, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar or related position.
  • Expertise in digital media channels such as : paid search, paid social, programmatic and traditional advertising.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional written, oral, and presentation capabilities.

What we also value (preferred) :

  • Proven experience driving results through paid media.
  • Background in financial modeling and Return on Investment (ROI) / Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI) analysis.
  • Hands on keyboard experience in Google Ads, social media platforms and / or programmatic media buying platforms.
  • Media planning and / or buying experience at an agency or in-house.

Job Summary

The Manager, Paid Media plays a pivotal role in AMC's success by overseeing the planning, execution, reporting, and optimization of paid media initiatives.

Focused on digital / traditional, acquisition, and conversion media programs, this role collaborates closely with AMC's Director, Paid and Social Media to craft and implement strategic media plans including paid search, paid social, programmatic and Out-Of-Home advertising tactics to support business objectives and marketing initiatives.

This position is based in Leawood, KS and is not eligible for relocation.
