Our OTooles Sales Associate are responsible for customers experience. Success in this role looks like : working well with a team, communicating with department lead regarding products and customer request, ability to adapt to changing environment, ability to receive feedback and desire to increase knowledge and understanding of department.
HOURS & OTHER DETAILS :
- This is a seasonal position that would start in March / April, running through the end of our peak season of early July / August.
- We are hiring both full-time and part-time seasonal sales associates.
- This is a fun but extremely busy retail environment. Flexibility and the ability to work weekends a must.
JOB DUTIES :
- Customer Service : e.g., answering customer inquiries and assisting in helping customers make the appropriate buying decision.
- Able to problem solve and suggest the appropriate course of action.
- Respond to radio and store pages.
- Perform routine product inventory.
- Assist in maintaining organization throughout the garden center, e.g. pulling product forward on shelves, ensuring merchandise is priced correctly and returning tools, ladders and cleaning supplies to their proper place.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED :

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years experience working with the public.
- 6+ months of retail store experience
- 6+ months of sales experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs, including credit cards, installations, add-on sales, and explaining warranties, product features, and benefits.
