Orchestral Strings Product Manager

Job Description

As Orchestral Strings Product Manager for Eastman, you will be the main point of contact for all things related to our violins, violas, cellos, basses, bows, cases, and other stringed instrument accessories.

You will be part of a team working with our sales managers, dealership network, end users, workshop managers and luthiers, to help ensure that our instruments remain the #1 string line in the United States, as well as assisting our international teams abroad.

The Product Manager is responsible for seeking out ideas to expand upon and improve our instruments. This individual will be passionate about the history and future of orchestral strings and will be willing to collaborate with luthiers, teachers, violin shops, and players, to ensure that our company has exceptional, world class instruments.

As Product Manager, you will work with our sales team and being responsible for price lists, correct product information in our ERP system, setting and managing sales goals, and working with purchasing to ensure that we maintain proper stocking levels of our products.

You will also work with our Marketing Department on various needs to ensure that Eastman instruments are properly represented, and their exceptional quality is known by educators, students, and players alike.

This will entail regular communication with these string players, as well as our valued artists.

Qualifications

Experience playing and / or selling orchestral stringed instruments

Technology skills including Microsoft Excel and ability to use our accounting, inventory, and CRM software

Ability to travel to meet with our customers and represent our instruments at trade shows around the country (5-6 weeks total throughout the year)

Strong communication and organizational skills
