Job Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, and repair precision measuring equipment at customer sites.
- Travel within 450 miles from home, including occasional plane travel.
- 100% travel M-F with overnight stays.
- Maintain a reliable vehicle; car allowance of $700 / month plus reimbursed gas.
- Participate in a 3-6 month training program (home on weekends).
- Perform installations, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of assigned product group(s).
- Promote the sale of customer service agreements as appropriate.
- Maintain daily contact with headquarters following standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Train end users in proper preventive maintenance procedures for equipment.
- Complete and submit all required paperwork weekly.
- Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain good customer relations and inform management of potential problems.
- Conform with all compliance issues related to calibration as instructed by management.

Physical Demands
Must be able to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs. Requires bending, squatting, and reaching.
Additional Requirements
Valid Driver’s License. Must be a US Person (LPA or US Citizen).
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, Monday Friday, 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM.
Travel
Up to 100% travel; up to 8 hours of daily driving.
Required Education and Experience
Education equivalent to four years of college. Two years’ experience.
Reports To
Field Service Supervisor or Assistant Field Service Manager.
