Job Description : The Physician Assistant Surgical Specialties provides clinical expertise caring for patients needing surgical evaluation, undergoing surgery and invasive procedures through the continuum of care.
The Physician Assistant Surgical Specialties will function in collaboration with surgeons and physicians within the JMSMG.
Care provided by the Physician Assistant Surgical Specialties and other team members caring for the patients is expected to be provided and coordinated following standard procedure and policies as directed by the treating surgeon.
The Physician Assistant Surgical Specialties will support General Surgeons, Colo-Rectal Surgeon, Bariatric Surgeons and Hepato-Pancreato-Billary Surgeon within the John Muir Health Physician Network.
The Physician Assistant Surgical Specialties will report to the Practice Manager and will be directly supervised by the Lead Physician of the Division of Surgery of JMSMG.
