$28 / hr $32 / hr

Position Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialist to join our client’s Finance team.

This position will be responsible for managing and processing both accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and a passion for maintaining financial accuracy.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialist :

• Process invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of accounts payable transactions.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and verify receipts of goods or services.
• Manage vendor communications, resolve discrepancies, and maintain positive relationships.
• Prepare, post, and reconcile accounts receivable transactions, including monitoring outstanding payments.
• Generate and distribute customer invoices and statements.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, including reconciling bank and account statements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any invoicing or payment issues.
• Maintain detailed and organized financial records for auditing purposes.
• Assist in managing cash flow by accurately forecasting receivables and payables.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and escalate as necessary.
• The Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialist will ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting regulations.

Qualifications for the Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialist :

• Knowledge of accounts payable & receivable concepts and procedures.
• Proficiency with Excel and any ERP system (Concur, NetSuite, Oracle, etc.).
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate and communicate with individuals.

Education Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
