As a Senior Robotics Software Engineer specializing in Perception, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing advanced perception algorithms and systems for our next-generation robotic platforms.
You will collaborate with a talented team of engineers and researchers to create robust and efficient solutions that enable our robots to navigate and interact with complex environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and optimize perception algorithms for object detection, recognition, tracking, and scene understanding.
- Implement and integrate sensor fusion techniques using data from various sensors such as cameras, LiDAR, RADAR, and IMUs.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration of perception systems with the overall robotic platform.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision, machine learning, and robotics perception.
- Perform rigorous testing and validation of perception algorithms in real-world scenarios to ensure reliability and robustness.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and interns.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in robotics software development with a focus on perception.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and ROS (Robot Operating System).
- Extensive experience with computer vision and machine learning frameworks (., OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- In-depth knowledge of sensor technologies and experience with sensor calibration and data fusion.
- Proven track record of developing and deploying perception algorithms in real-world robotic applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with autonomous navigation and SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping).
- Familiarity with deep learning techniques for perception tasks.
