ProjectOverview : The GTA CJEP project is a modernization of theCriminal Justice Exchange Program that shares data betweendifferent agencies counties cities etc.

This project will take thecurrent SoftwareAG centric solution and produce a Cloud Nativesolution in AWS to move and consolidate data for counties thatsignup for the service.

The touchpoints for this data sharing willbe third party vendors as well as state and county systems. CurrentAPIs and web services will be leveraged to facilitate thismodernized solution as much aspossible.

PositionOverview : As an AWS Cloud Developer at GTA you will playa crucial role in designing developing and maintaining scalablecloud solutions on the AWS platform.

You will collaborate closelywith crossfunctional teams in a SCRUM Agile environment to deliverhighquality software solutions that meet business objectives.

Theideal candidate will have extensive experience with SOAPbased webservicescustom header implementation and handling MTOM (MessageTransmission Optimization Mechanism)attachments

KeyResponsibilities :

• Design develop and deploy cloudnativeapplications on AWS using services such as Lambda API GatewayDynamoDB S3 and others as needed.
• Implementserverless architectures using AWS Lambda functions withPython.
• Build and orchestrate workflows usingAWS Step Functions and AWS State Machines.
• Design develop and implement SOAPbased web services usingservices technologies.
• Create and managecustom headers for web services to ensure security authenticationand data integrity.
• Implement MTOM attachmentssuch as PDF for efficient transmission of binary data in webservices.
• Collaborate with Product OwnersScrum Masters and other team members to refine user stories anddeliver solutions iteratively.
• Ensure codequality performance and scalability through automated testing codereviews and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development testingand production environments.
• Stay current withAWS services tools and best practices and share your knowledgewithin the team.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Computer ScienceEngineering or a related field (or equivalent practicalexperience).
• Proven experience with XML XSDWSDL and other related technologies
• Provenexperience as a software developer with a strong understanding ofcloud computing principles and practices.
• Handson experience designing and developing applicationson AWS cloud services particularly Lambda API Gateway DynamoDB andS3.
• Proficiency in Python programminglanguage; familiarity with other languages is a plus.
• Experience with AWS Step Functions and State Machines ishighly desirable.
• Familiarity with Agilemethodologies and SCRUM framework.
• Strongproblemsolving skills and ability to work effectively in a teamenvironment.
• Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills.

PreferredQualifications :

• AWS certifications (e.g. AWS CertifiedDeveloper) are a plus.
• Experience with CI / CDpipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiaritywith containerization (e.g. Docker) and orchestration (e.g.Kubernetes)
