A company is looking for a Health Information Data Integrity Specialist.Key Responsibilities : Investigates matching information between duplicates and merges patients accuratelyUpdates demographic data fields in the systems and maintains patient demographic informationAnalyzes patient loads, works on identity theft cases, and corrects inappropriate data in patient chartsRequired Qualifications : Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Health Information Technician (RHIT) registrationAssociate's Degree in Health Information Management or related field3 years of experience in medical records, coding, or transcription in a complex healthcare settingProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office productsKnowledge of medical terminology and experience with hospital information systems like Epic, Cerner, Clinicare, etc
