What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an experienced engineer with a Full-Stack background to join our engineering team at Disco! As a member of our team you will help us build both exciting enhancements and brand new products.

You’ll be joining an extremely diverse and distributed team in a remote-first company that emphasizes efficiency and collaboration.

We expect you to be self-motivated, inquisitive, and passionate about building efficient processes for development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or commensurate experience
• 3+ years of experience with some form of SQL (PostgresQL experience is a plus)
• Strong comfort with both leveraging 3rd party APIs as well as maintaining and building the versioning of internal and external 1st party APIs
• Firm grasp on Agile software development methodologies
• Enjoy working collaboratively within a distributed team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Comfort in working with containerization (Docker ideally)

• Knowledge of the django web framework
• Javascript / React experience
