Responsibilities
The Business Data Analyst primary focus will be to serve as a point of contact for analytical matters pertaining to internal and external inquiries surrounding our Wholesalers, Specialty Pharmacies and Distributors
Provide insights, business intelligence, and management analytics for effective decision making in alignment with CX-OTC day-to-day activities
Support team activities, operating review meetings, and management requests through the delivery of information to support day-to-day customer experience and order-to-cash (CX-OTC) activities
Partner across various functional areas, including Finance, Accounts Receivable, Commercial Analytics, and Pricing and Contracts, to drive actionable planning solutions and trade efficiencies
Develop insights pertaining to Specialty Pharmacies, Specialty Distributors, and Wholesalers; drive trade analytics reporting and advance the level of automation in order to provide most efficient use of data resources
Prioritize business needs and manage expectations for deliverables and Continuous Improvement strategies
Prepare reports, while analyzing data variances and trending, to explain deltas or deviations in partnership with business owner
Collaborate with interfacing technical teams including Data Management Systems and Information Systems to identify report(s) dependencies, engineer design solutions, and orchestrate deliverables towards a common goal
Run the Business - Oversee the execution of the order-to-cash process :
Communicate strategic priorities and assist in diagnosing and solving tactical problems that limit desired business outcomes.
Review transactional backlogs, risk and issue areas, and proactively plan mitigation.
Enforces accurate and compliant execution of s policies and procedures (SOX, Quota, Quarter-end management)
Optimize OTC Work Performance Management :
Prepare and review analytics to provide visibility to the effectively of operational plans
Basic Qualifications :
Doctorate degree
Masters degree & 1 year of experience
Bachelors degree & 3 years of experience
Associates degree & 8 years of experience
High school diploma / GED & 10 years of experience
Experience in an analytics, forecasting, and / or strategy role; experience in healthcare, biotech and / or pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred
Preferred Qualifications :
Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
Highly proficient analytical and software skills aimed at data analysis
Ability to analyze / interpret large data sets from multiple sources such as SAP, vendor portals and other platforms
Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau) preferred
Strong communication skills (verbal and written); proven ability to work cross functionally and liaise across a complex set of stakeholders
Excellent problem-solving capabilities
Demonstrate analytical skills combined with a client service orientation
Demonstrate ability to think strategically to support key business decisions
Must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, high-energy and a driven problem solver especially in face of resistance or setbacks
