Salary : $24-$30 DOE

WRS has an immediate opening for Civil Construction Laborer(s). This position will require travel.

Candidates with prior Civil Construction experience will be given preference, but all are encouraged to apply.

Your Responsibilities

• Uses various hand tools & power tools to perform tasks.
• Runs and operates small equipment.
• Assists with all aspects of concrete. Builds forms, smoothes and finishes freshly poured concrete.
• Positions, joins, aligns, welds and seals pipe sections.
• Mops, brushes, or spreads paints or compounds over surfaces for protection.
• Sprays materials such as water, sand, steam, tar, or paint, through hose to clean, coat, or seal surfaces.
• Grinds, sands, or polishes various surfaces.
• Assists with all aspects of construction : Demolishes buildings, saws lumber, dismantles forms, concrete work, constructs elements of buildings, asphalt work, lifts and moves objects, etc.
• WRS laborers may be asked tostand a fire watch, hole watch or pump watch. They also may be asked to be a truck spotter or rider.
• Understands elevations as it relates to grade, piping, and slope.
• Must be willing to travel.
