Description : The Senior Accountant will be responsible for general ledger accounting, assisting with the month end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and quarterly and annual audits.

Responsibilities :

• Participate in month-end close process which includes, but is not limited to :
• Posting & documentation of journal entries on a timely basis
• Ensuring completeness and accuracy of monthly account reconciliations
• Assisting in supplemental reporting required by Corporate Controller’s group
• Reconcile intercompany balances with North America and International business units
• Reconcile assigned Balance Sheet Accounts collaborating with business unit accounting team
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
• Assist in quarterly forecasting and annual budget process
• Provide supporting data for quarterly and annual audits
• Implement accounting initiatives led by Corporate Finance & Accounting
• Reconcile all bank accounts
• Manage and account for the business unit’s fixed assets
• Complete other ad-hoc tasks as necessary

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Accounting
• 4 years of comparable work experience
• Familiarity with US GAAP
• Proficiency in MS Office products intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Experience navigating an environment with multiple ERPs
• Ability to work cross-functionally and act as a liaison with cost center managers across North America
• Must be able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
