Recruitment Business Partner

This role sits within our defence and security sector, our mission is to connect exceptional talent with our clients that provide direct support to the UK Armed forces.

As a Recruitment Business Partner dedicated to one of our key Defence clients, you will be instrumental in sourcing, attracting, and recruiting top-tier talent for permanent positions within the Defence industry.

You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to understand recruitment needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, and manage end-to-end recruitment processes.

This is a full RPO and MSP service and you will have the opportunity to build strong internal relationships and improve processes in collaboration with the client.

Responsibilities :

  • Partner with client to understand their hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies that align with their goals and objectives.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for permanent positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates.
  • Utilise various sourcing methods (e.g., job boards, social media, networking, referrals) to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, provide market insights, and facilitate effective decision-making.
  • Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
  • Negotiate offers and manage the offer acceptance process, ensuring smooth onboarding for new hires.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in recruitment to continuously improve sourcing and selection strategies.

Key Skills :

  • Proven experience as a Recruitment Business Partner or similar role, preferably within the Defence or Aerospace industry.
  • Strong background in permanent recruitment, with a successful track record of filling technical and professional roles.
  • Deep understanding of recruitment processes and best practices, including sourcing strategies, candidate assessment techniques, and employment law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive and results-oriented approach, with a focus on delivering high-quality recruitment solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
