Job Title : Ambulatory Regulatory Technician Job Specialty : Pharmacy Technician Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Not specified License : Not specified Certifications : CPHT Required Must-Have : Local Candidates Only Job Description : - Responsible for managing internal and external pharmacy payer audits and requirements in accordance with Federal, State, and Internal auditing standards.

• Assist in day-to-day activities of outpatient pharmacy locations' insurance audit requests and regulatory compliance.- Service more than six retail pharmacy locations within specified areas.
• Compile data for fax or electronic audits and support managers during in-person audits.- Proactively audit claims for accuracy and support regulatory requirements.
• Ensure timeliness and accuracy of payer audit completion and submitted information.- Assess risks in pharmacy audit assignments and perform appropriate audit procedures.
• Draft and communicate audit findings and observations.- Collaborate with pharmacy management to resolve issues efficiently.
• Conduct desktop and onsite audits in compliance with Federal, State, and Internal Audit standards.- Perform proactive claims auditing for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Handle third-party requests in coordination with Pharmacy Managers.- Audit delivery processes to ensure medication delivery and proper receipt records.
• Assist with ongoing regulatory compliance, accreditation surveys, and monitor compliance with billing practices.- Lead meetings in conjunction with management and perform quality assurance on pharmacy payer documentation.
• Ensure completion of payer regulatory requirements.- Adhere to company values, policies, and procedures.- Perform other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, and organization.
