Job Title : Electrical Engineer (Entry Level)
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer (no experience needed, just an ABET accredited degree in EE) for a hybrid position based in Tulsa and surrounding areas.
This role requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Candidates must be local to Tulsa and will work one day a week on location, with the remaining days remote.
Note that the number of in-office days may change. We offer some flexibility with the rate and are not looking for Associate-level experience.
Candidates must possess an Electrical Engineering degree and relevant experience. Other engineering backgrounds will not be considered.
Responsibilities include performing power flow short circuit and facility studies in the ERCOT area, writing reports to explain study results, developing holistic solutions to interconnect customers, correct criteria violations, and address rehabilitation needs.
You will present projects to internal engineering groups and support them throughout project development. This role also involves leading, facilitating, and coordinating work activities of others within the team or department, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
Additional duties include developing input necessary to forecast costs for routine projects, identifying and resolving moderately complex problems, and seeking out opportunities for process improvement.
Effective communication skills are essential for coordinating the work of other engineers. The use of computer-assisted engineering and design software is also required.
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program and 2 or more years of related engineering experience.
Individuals with a Master's or Doctorate degree in engineering may also be considered. Acceptable alternatives to the ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree include a non-ABET Bachelor's degree plus a Professional Engineers (PE) license, or a non-ABET Bachelor's degree plus a Master's degree in engineering from a university with an ABET-accredited Bachelor's program.
