Salesforce Architect

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Technology Leader with extensive expertise as a certified Salesforce Architect to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, design, and implementation. This role requires hands-on experience in leading complex Salesforce projects, including compliance programs with Salesforce Shield, strong technical skills, and the ability to guide and mentor a team of internal and external engineers.

Expertise with Sales, Service and Experience Clouds is crucial and experience in the Health or Life Sciences industry is preferred.

OBJECTIVES

• Develop and execute technology strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Lead the Salesforce architecture and ensure the platform meets business requirements.
• Collaborate with senior management to drive innovation and efficiency through Salesforce solutions.
• Design and implement scalable and secure Salesforce solutions.
• Oversee the development of technical architecture documentation.
• Ensure best practices and standards are followed in the design and development of Salesforce solutions.
• Lead end-to-end Salesforce projects, including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide status updates.
• Design and implement Salesforce Shield solutions, including encryption, event monitoring, and field audit trail.
• Ensure data security and compliance with regulatory requirements using Salesforce Shield.
• Provide guidance on best practices for utilizing Salesforce Shield features.
• Design and implement solutions using Salesforce Sales, Experience and Service Cloud.
• Optimize customer and partner experiences through Experience Cloud.
• Enhance customer service operations with Service Cloud capabilities / workflows.
• Mentor and guide a team of Salesforce developers, administrators, and analysts.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features, functionality, and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and support to resolve complex issues.
• Develop and implement integration strategies with other enterprise systems.
• Ensure solutions comply with industry standards, regulations, and security protocols.
• Employ modern code and deployment management facilitating CI / CD capabilities.
• Conduct regular code reviews and quality assurance checks.
• Implement and maintain data governance and security policies.

COMPETENCIES

• Proven experience in Salesforce architecture, design, and implementation.
• Proven track record of leading and delivering complex Salesforce projects.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce technologies (e.g., Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, SOQL).
• Experience with Salesforce Shield implementation.
• Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations and data migration.
• Preferred experience in the Health or Life Sciences industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture, design, and implementation.
• Certified Salesforce Architect (e.g., Technical Architect, Application Architect, System Architect).
• Additional Salesforce certifications are a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk or computer
• Travel up to 10% of the time
