Job Description

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives, primarily selling Discovery and Process Chemistry services
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at client organizations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet clients' specific needs and requirements.
  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure the successful closure of deals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market developments to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

  • or in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry or other related discipline.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in Biotech, preferably in a Business Development role.
  • Proven track record of success in selling CDMO / CRO services to biotech and pharmaceutical companies.
  • Strong understanding of the drug development process and the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
