Here at Virginia Home Care Services; we specialize in providing personalized care services to our clients in the comfort of their homes.

Currently we are seeking CNAs, HHAs, and certified PCAs to join our Care Heroes Team.

Care Heroes are responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and medication reminders.

Further, Care Heroes are also responsible for providing companionship and emotional support to clients and their families. APPLY NOW!

Job Duties :

Assist clients with personal care, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting

Medication Reminders

Meal Preparation (in accordance with the client’s dietary needs and preferences)

Light Housekeeping

Escort clients to appointments or social events as needed

Document and report any changes in the client’s condition to the supervisor

Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent

Active CNA / HHA License or PCA Certificate

Minimum of 1-year experience as a caregiver or similar role

Ability to lift and move clients safely

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Must pass a criminal background check and drug test

Requirements

Your duties will include performing basic housekeeping duties, assisting with personal hygiene, and providing companionship, as well as :

• assisting clients with personal hygiene such as bathing, oral, and skin care.
• assisting clients with all toileting needs.
• assisting clients with ambulatory needs, including use of walkers and wheelchairs, as necessary.
• assisting clients with eating, meal prepping, following a healthy diet, and self- administration of medication.
• assisting clients with prescribed exercises, as necessary.
• assist clients in maintaining a tidy and safe living environment, with special emphasis on reducing fall risks.

Required Qualifications :

• successful completion of a personal care training program (we train you if you do not have your certificate yet!).
• ability to use a phone in order to complete clocking in / out requirements.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client
• Escort clients to appointments or social events as needed
• Document and report any changes in the client’s condition to the supervisor
