Responsibilities
Endoscopy Technicians assist with performing maneuvers during procedures such as polypectomies and collection and of specimens.
The Endoscopy Tech performs EKGs and the placement of a Pulse Oximeter. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Endoscopy Techs obtain, monitor, and document vital signs and retrieve endoscopy reports from EMR system
- Set up, clean, and care for scopes, the exam room, computers, and other procedure equipment
- Greet patients and escort them to exam / procedure room
