About The Position
Job Title : Physician Job Specialty : Neurology - Headache Specialist Job Duration : N / A Shift : Day - 8x5 - 08A - 04P Guaranteed Hours : N / A Experience : Fellowship-trained, Board-Certified Headache Specialist License : New York (or willing to obtain) Certifications : - Board Certified in Neurology- Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Headache Medicine- DEA (or willing to obtain) Must-Have : Fellowship training in Headache (to be completed prior to start)- Cannot clear local candidates within 30 miles of the institution Job Description : Provide outpatient care in an established MS Headache Medicine practice- Collaborate with a large team of internal specialists and a robust primary care network- Opportunity within a supportive practice environment with an established patient base and strong demand- Hospital-employed position, with governance from a physician-led Board of Directors- Benefit from a robust referral network and strong Advanced Practitioner support- Work schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 am - 4 : 30 pm- Call schedule : 1 : 4 call from 8 : 00 am to 9 : 00 pm (no calls after 9 : 00 pm) with no weekend duties- Not accepting locum tenens candidates- Open to upcoming fellowship graduate candidates from 2025- Open to H-1B visa candidates, but unable to accept J-1 waivers Benefits : Opportunities for quality and productivity incentives- Relocation allowance based on moving distance- Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness- Comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance- Paid malpractice insurance, including post-employment tail coverage- CME time and expense allowance- Paid time away from practice- Retirement savings program with employer matching program
