Job Description :
The Illinois School District is seeking a dedicated and qualified Virtual School Psychologist to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year.
As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will provide comprehensive psychological services to students, staff, and parents through a remote platform.
Your primary responsibilities will include conducting assessments, providing counseling, and collaborating with educators to support students' academic and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct virtual psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies to support student learning and mental health.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and interventions.
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in school psychology and mental health.
Qualifications :
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist license.
- Experience with virtual service delivery preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with virtual assessment tools and technology.
