Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) position requiring OH or compact RN licensure and recent OR experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) of a hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule from 7 : 00am to 3 : 30pm, five days per week
  • Involves direct-care responsibilities for surgical cardiovascular cases
  • Uses EPIC for EMR and Pyxis for medication management
  • Role involves developing, implementing, and evaluating each patient's plan of care in the CVOR
  • Works collaboratively with physicians and the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Position functions under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing

    • Requirements

  • Active OH or compact RN license in hand
  • Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience required
  • Current BLS / BCLS certification and NIHSS certification are required
  • Experience with Epic EMR and Pyxis systems is required
  • Must reside outside a 60-mile radius from the facility
