Job Description :
As an Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to customers and field technicians.
You will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to our sprayfoam equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction and optimal equipment performance.
This role requires a strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to analyze data to improve our products and services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide technical support via phone, email, and onsite visits to customers and field technicians.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with sprayfoam equipment, including electrical and mechanical components.
- Assist customers with equipment setup, operation, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to address complex technical problems.
- Conduct training sessions for customers and staff on equipment use and maintenance.
- Maintain detailed records of support activities and resolutions.
- Analyze data from equipment performance and customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Generate reports and present findings to the engineering and management teams.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and equipment advancements.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Proven experience in technical support, preferably in the sprayfoam or related industry.
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Experience with data analysis and generating reports.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for onsite support and training sessions as needed.
