About The Position
Job Title : Radiographer II Job Specialty : Diagnostic X-Ray Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Nights, Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday, 18 : 30 - 07 : 00 Guaranteed Hours : 36.
00 hours / week Experience : Preferred : One year of full-time experience as a certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technology professional.
License : ARDMS, ARRT, and / or CCI credentials in the relevant specialty required. Certifications : Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire.
Must-Have : Knowledge of diagnostic radiography techniques.- Ability to operate and maintain radiographic equipment.- Proficiency in performing radiographic examinations and fluoroscopy studies.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.- Computer proficiency. Job Description : Perform advanced level professional work in exposing and processing radiographic images and fluoroscopy examinations.
- Circulate to other diagnostic radiology areas (e.g., surgery, trauma, pediatrics) as assigned by the supervisor.- Operate standard and portable radiology equipment to conduct radiographic examinations and fluoroscopy studies, including intravenous pyelography, cystography, gastrointestinal series, and body section radiography.
- Assist physicians and execute specialized imaging procedures.- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and / or film output issues.
- Serve as a resource and preceptor for other radiographers and / or students.- Participate in training programs to enhance radiology skills and gain proficiency in producing images of a patient's body in specialized modalities such as Computed Tomography or Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
- Maintain records, inventory, and equipment for the primary area of responsibility.- Perform other duties as assigned.
