Job Summary :
Provide leadership for planning management implementationintegration and coordination of the unit in support of facilitygoals dedicated to excellence effective leadership and financialstability.
Support the delivery of the high quality cost effectivepatient care through activities based on facility strategic goalsand objectives.
What you will doin this role :
- Enhancethe department through performance improvement and appropriateutilization of resources.
- Develop anoperational system that supports a seamless flow of patientsthrough the continuum of care.
- Facilitate thedevelopment of a comprehensive education program for patients andstaff.
- Collaborate with physicians to provideleadership though out the department.
- Evaluates and makes recommendations regardingnew technology and services.
- Collaboratesproactively with all interdisciplinary team members and with apatient / family focus to facilitate and maximize client healthcareoutcomes.
Coordinates multidisciplinary patient care conferencesfor high risk or medically complex patients.
- Leads research projects under the IRB.
- Directs development of specific short andlongrange programs and project plans to obtain the facilityobjectives.
- Responsible for the planning andcoordination of activities the operational efficiency andeffectiveness as well as major impact on all other hospital areas.
- Effectively interviews and selects a qualifiednumber of personnel as required to meet department objectives.Ensures hiring practices conform to appropriate AffirmativeAction / EEO practices and regulations.
- Providesdirection to the staff and supervisors. Reviews performance of thedepartment staff and approves staff evaluations.
Responsible forappropriate disciplinary action of staff members asneeded.
Whatqualifications you will need :
Seeking Recent Acute Care RN leadership experience at least 23years of Supervisor / Manager level experience.
BachelorsDegree Required
Basic Cardiac Life Support or BCLSInstructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment startdate
Registered Nurse or Advance NursePractitioner
