HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT :
Job Summary :
- The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing the delegated nursing functions under the direction of the department manager and clinical nurses.
- Assisting with direct patient care and clerical duties that are an essential function in the coordination of optimal patient care, including, but not limited to :
- Scheduling patients
- Patient hygiene / toileting
- Mobility assistance
- Interdepartmental transportation
- Vital signs
- Charting
- Ordering supplies
- Cleaning and stocking patient areas
- Chart audits
- Interaction with all areas of the department.
- Note : Position works Mon., Wed., and Fri. 7 : 45-4 : 15 p.m.

WHAT YOULL NEED TO APPLY :
Required Education :
High school diploma (or equivalent) and successful completion of a Medical Assistant training course at a vocational / technical school.
Required Experience :
None
Preferred Experience :
Successful completion of a Medical Assistant externship and two (2) or more years of job-related experience
Required Certification / License / Registry :
None
