Senior IT Project Manager Sierra Cybernetics is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to work for us, supporting our County of Riverside, California client to oversee complex technology projects, ensuring their successful planning, execution, and delivery.
The is a is a short term position (90 days or less) Hybrid (home and downtown Riverside) assignment. Open to US citizens, green card or H1-B visa holders.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Experience : 5 years in project management Desired Skills and Experience : 10+ years of project management experience.
Preferred experience in government and healthcare.PMP certification preferred. Key Responsibilities : Project Planning : Develop and manage detailed project plans, including tasks and timelines.
Stakeholder Management : Serve as the main contact for stakeholders, facilitating status updates and communications.Risk Management : Identify and mitigate project risks, adjusting plans as needed.
Resource Coordination : Oversee resource allocation and collaborate with the RCIT Executive Team to address challenges.Execution and Delivery : Lead project tasks, ensuring timely and within-scope delivery.
Documentation and Reporting : Maintain project documentation and provide regular updates to senior leadership.Quality Assurance : Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and conduct post-implementation reviews.
Handover and Transition : Prepare a transition plan for the incoming Senior IT Project Manager and support knowledge transfer.
Expected Outcomes : Timely completion of project milestones.Effective risk and resource management.Comprehensive documentation and reporting.
Smooth transition to the new Senior IT Project Manager.
